I have won and placed in many contest and have my art hanging in both national and international collections. I started in photography many years ago just playing, reading books, playing, practicing, and most importantly playing!! Just a few years ago I decided to pick up a paint brush and try my hand at acrylic painting. I fell in love! I really like to try new art forms and I love to look at things in different ways. I've started playing with pen and ink drawing as well as pencil drawing. I'm actually playing around with silk dyes now. I have to say that I just love to play which is probably why I'm self taught.
